Aw, poo! I had a great title earlier today and now it slipped my mind!
Sorry to be away for so long but much has happened since last we spoke. In no particular order:
So she is officially official! (Cue the cheering crowd!)
However, before we leave, there is much to do -- shipping, packing, meeting, saying goodbye-ing, teaching, and a bunch of other -ings I'm probably deliberately ignoring.
Two other important things I want to mention today are that
1) My wife says that usually my blog posts tend to be more philosophical than chronological. I agree. Simple chronologies don't usually work for me because my mind doesn't connect the dots that way. I prefer to intuit and arrive at my destination eventually, most especially in blogs.

2) Thanks, Saeko! You are the first person to write a comment on this blog in the nearly 3 years it's been around. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
At this time, that is all.
- We have accomplished maybe 50% of our overall packing to move.
- We made the final payment for our tickets to the US in July.
- We went to Okinawa this past week, Kagoshima on the weekend and today, got the immigration visa paperwork for Yasumi!
