I hate it when I have a plan for a blog entry and it goes pear-shaped
You know, I was thinking about writing a blog about hyperbole and expectations (slightly different from the last time) but then I thought about it some more and I said, well, maybe I shouldn't bother. I should just post the link to the story that made me start thinking about the topic and my letter to the editor of the Japan Times. I checked the online version each Thursday and Sunday since I submitted it, only to be completely disappointed.
Then I thought I would post my letter to the editor here. That's what this blog is for, right? Yeah, well, maybe not. The more I think about it, and the longer the time since, it seems like it's not quite so interesting. Supposing that, there should be a little consideration about appropriateness. (Which some one or other may say it's the pot calling the kettle some obscene name but there it is.)
Instead, let me point you to a website with a worthwhile discussion about one of my more favorite movies: Dames.

You have to join to post but it's free. This is one of the better discussions/series they've had on there. That's probably because I've involved myself in it.
Enjoy!
